Lux, Lucie, the light.
After studying applied arts and art history I decided in 2015 to dedicate myself to ceramic.
I first started classes with the French ceramic artist Hélène Morbu who was my menthor. Then I attended a two years professional training learning wheel throwing and glaze research.
When I opened my own workshop in 2020, I wanted to experiment other techniques. I tried handbuilt coiling and combined clays and this is how I found my own path.
My work focuses on daily objects, exploring foremost their symbolic and poetic dimensions. I also explore their shapes and sometimes their functionalities.
Ceramic is a medium which allows me to transcend boundaries between art, craftsmanship and design.
